Tubes deliver controlled dosing at low cost and take little space in transit. Barrier depends on wall structure: monolayer suits stable formulas, while multilayer with a barrier protects oxygen-sensitive actives. Formulas with essential oils in a thin tube can migrate through the wall over time.
